Finally some interesting news about Michael Jackson, other than what kind of drugs he was taking… The media has been bombarding everyone with minute by minute updates on his funeral plans. The family is talking. The family is still talking. They are making plans. They are about to make a decision… I personally have found all of the blow by blow action very irritating. We now all know, finally, that Michael’s service will be held at the Staples Center complex in downtown Los Angeles.Now here is the scoop. Michael’s casket… It’s no pine box. Its a $25,000, solid bronze, 14-karat gold plated, custom casket.
The casket — ordered last night from Batesville Casket Company — is called a Promethean and will feature a flame blue velvet interior and a hand-polished, mirror finish.
This is the same casket used to bury James Brown… and is extremely rare
